01

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Using Aqualume means you agree to these Terms.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Aqualume website, available request flows, communications, and related platform features.

By accessing or using Aqualume, you agree to follow these Terms and any applicable policies referenced on the website, including the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy .

Do not use the platform if you do not agree with these Terms. For urgent safety situations, contact the relevant emergency service or qualified local professional directly.

02

AQUALUME’S PLATFORM ROLE

Aqualume is an independent provider-matching platform.

Aqualume helps homeowners describe water-related concerns, organize available request details, explore relevant local provider options, and compare potential next steps.

Aqualume does not directly provide water extraction, drying, restoration, flood cleanup, plumbing, leak repair, basement repair, inspection, construction, mold testing, diagnosis, treatment, or remediation services.

What Aqualume can help with

Organizing a request, helping you explore relevant local options, and making the initial search process clearer.

What Aqualume does not do

Perform physical work, inspect your home, diagnose the cause of damage, quote a project, or guarantee a provider’s service.

03

ELIGIBILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Use the platform honestly and only for legitimate request purposes.

You are responsible for making sure that the information you provide is accurate, current, and relevant to your request. You should not submit information that you do not have permission to provide.

  • You must be legally able to use the platform and make decisions about the property or request context.
  • You are responsible for reviewing provider information and deciding whether any option is suitable for your situation.
  • You are responsible for using your own judgment before authorizing, purchasing, scheduling, or accepting third-party services.
  • You should seek immediate emergency help from the appropriate source where a situation presents an urgent safety risk.
04

REQUESTS AND PROVIDER OPTIONS

A request is a starting point, not a binding service agreement.

When you submit information through an available request flow, Aqualume may use the details you provide to help identify or present relevant local provider options, subject to the availability of participating providers and the specific context of your request.

Any communication, estimate, visit, inspection, proposal, appointment, service, payment, agreement, or work arrangement with an independent provider is separate from Aqualume and is between you and that provider.

You are never required to hire, contact, schedule, or accept a service from a provider simply because you used Aqualume to explore an option.

05

NO GUARANTEES

Provider options, availability, and outcomes can vary.

Aqualume does not guarantee that a provider will be available in your area, contact you, accept your request, offer a particular price, provide a particular scope of work, meet a specific timeline, or achieve any specific outcome.

Timing

Response times, scheduling, and availability can vary by provider, geography, weather, demand, and other factors.

Pricing

Aqualume does not set, control, or guarantee third-party pricing, estimates, payment terms, or financing options.

Service scope

Providers determine whether they can offer services, what those services include, and whether a request is a fit.

Results

Aqualume does not promise, warrant, or guarantee any repair, restoration, provider, recommendation, or result.

06

PROHIBITED USE

Keep the platform safe, respectful, and lawful.

You agree not to use Aqualume in a way that is unlawful, deceptive, disruptive, or harmful to the platform, other users, providers, or third parties.

  • Do not submit false, misleading, incomplete, or unauthorized request information.
  • Do not use the platform to harass, threaten, impersonate, or deceive another person or organization.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
  • Do not use Aqualume for spam, unsolicited marketing, illegal activity, or purposes unrelated to a legitimate homeowner request.
07

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES

Independent providers and other third parties control their own information and services.

Aqualume may reference, display, link to, or help you explore information related to independent providers or other third-party services. Those third parties are responsible for their own websites, communications, services, terms, policies, pricing, scheduling, qualifications, and work.

Aqualume does not endorse or guarantee every provider, product, service, statement, rating, availability claim, estimate, or outcome associated with a third party.

08

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS

The platform is provided as an independent information and matching resource.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aqualume provides the website and platform features on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

This includes, without limitation, no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, available in every location, suitable for a particular purpose, or capable of producing a specific provider, price, timeline, service, or outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aqualume will not be responsible for third-party provider conduct, communications, services, scheduling, pricing, work quality, property conditions, or decisions made between you and any third party.

09

The platform and these Terms may evolve.

Aqualume may update, suspend, change, or discontinue part of the website or platform features when reasonably necessary for operations, security, legal requirements, or platform improvements.

Aqualume may also update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after updated Terms are posted may mean that you accept the revised Terms.
